Rajya Sabha:
Rajya Sabha is a permanent body and also known as the upper house of the Parliament of India. The Rajya Sabha is consists of 250 members – 238 members representing the States and Union Territories, and 12 members nominated by the President. In the Council of States, one third of the members retires every second year and is replaced by newly elected members. The minimum age for a person to become a member of RAJYA Sabha is 30 years and each member is elected for a term of 6 years.

The Lok Sabha is the composition of legislature of populace selected by direct vote on the basis of Universal Adult Suffrage. The members of the Lok Sabha were elected in the Indian general election. It is also known as the House of the People and the strength of Lok Sabha are 545 members in which 543 members were elected and 2 members were nominated by the President of India. The member elected for a time period of 5 years in the House of the People. The 16th Lok Sabha was elected in May 2014 and is the latest to date.

President of India:
The leader of State is a part of Parliament i.e. the President of India and he has complete authorities to summon and prorogue either house of Parliament or to dissolve Lok Sabha. The president can implement these authorities only leading the counsel of the PM and his committee of Ministers. The duty of the president is to inspect that bills/laws approved by the parliament are in agreement with legitimate authorization and specific method is followed before according his/her agreement to the bills, Under Article 60 and Article 111. The India’s President is chosen by the constituents of the India’s Parliament and the state governments and serves up for tenure of 05 years.
