Educational Qualification:
1. Section Engineer (Rolling Stock) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Mechatronics + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Rolling Stock in Railways/ Metro Railway Metro Train production units/ Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical equipment in Railway / Public sector or private sector production units.
2. Section Engineer (Traction) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Railway / Metro Rail Electrification works / traction power supply system/ third rail and SCADA System etc. from Railways / Public sector or private sector preferred
3. Section Engineer (AFC) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Industrial control/ telecommunication/ Applied Electronics/ Computer Science/ Digital Electronics/ Computer Networking / Power Electronics + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in AFC and related works in a Metro Rail System / Railways preferred
4. Section Engineer (Telecom) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Industrial control/ telecommunication/ Applied Electronics/ Computer Science/ Digital Electronics/ Computer Networking / Power Electronics + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in telecommunication and related works in a Metro Rail System / Railways preferred
5. Section Engineer (Signaling) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Industrial control/ telecommunication/ Applied Electronics/ Computer Science/ Digital Electronics/ Computer Networking / Power Electronics + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Signaling and related works in a Metro Rail System / Railways preferred
6. Section Engineer (Civil/RSS) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in construction project supervision viz. viaduct, UG tunneling, stations and other related activities such as quality control, quantity survey etc. in large infrastructure / Railway / Metro Rail construction projects preferred.
7. Section Engineer (System Design) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Electronics & Communications / Instrumentation Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in designing of infrastructure project and various systems in Railways / Metro Railways / public sectors / Engineering construction company/ Engineering consultancy company preferred. Candidates should be well conversant with Computer Aided Design / Analysis environment
8. Section Engineer (E&M Lifts & Escalator) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case of Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders in Electrification project, General and E&M services including Lifts & Escalator system erection, testing & commissioning, site supervision, inspection etc. Candidates with hands on experience in Lift/ Escalators, E&M services
9. Section Engineer (TVS & ECS) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders with hands on experience in E&M and building services works, including site supervision, inspection, testing & Commissioning. Candidates with experience of E&M/TVS/ECS in modern Metro Rail System shall be preferred
10. Section Engineer (Depot) - Engineering degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering + Post qualification experience of minimum 3 years in case Engineering Graduates and 6 years in case of diploma holders with hands on experience in supervision of E&M activities, installation of Plant & Machinery in workshops / depots of modern metro system including inspection, testing & Commissioning
Age Limit: (As on 31.07.2017)
Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
